In a surprising partnership that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an special katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
